PUML Launches An In-App Web3 Wallet — How it Works
In a groundbreaking move, PUML Better Health, the pioneering health and fitness app, has announced the launch of its highly anticipated in-app cryptocurrency wallet.
How It Works: A Seamless and Secure Experience
The in-app cryptographic wallet provides users with a seamless and secure way to manage their digital assets and engage with the Web3 ecosystem. Similar to the popular MetaMask wallet, PUML’s native wallet simplifies the process of interacting with cryptocurrencies and NFTs while maintaining a focus on health and fitness rewards.
1. Easy Set-Up and Importing
Getting started with PUML’s in-app wallet is a breeze. Users can download the PUML app for free from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once installed, the sign-up process is easy and straightforward. Towards the end of the process, the App will prompt the user to create a cryptographic wallet within the PUML App. The user will be prompted with a unique seed phrase for their private wallet. This seed phrase is important to keep private.
Note: At this time, users will only be able to use the in-App cryptographic wallet and will not be able to important an existing one if they already have a wallet with compatible assets.
2. Secure Self-Custody
PUML’s in-app wallet is designed with security in mind. Like MetaMask, it offers a self-custodial approach, meaning users have full control over their private keys and funds. This enhanced security ensures that users are the sole custodians of their assets, reducing the risk of unauthorized access or potential breaches.
3. Earning PUML and $PUMLx Tokens
One of the key features of PUML is its unique two-token model: PUML and $PUMLx. Users can now easily manage both their PUML and $PUMLx tokens. The process of converting PUML to $PUMLx has largely been through a redeem process that occurred every couple months. With current regulatory uncertainty, what was initially going to be a redeem at any time model has remained a process that will need to be unlocked on a regular and planned basis instead (at this stage: monthly). 4. Import WearX
With this wallet update, users will be able to import their WearX NFTs and benefit. Users who own these digital wearables can effortlessly import their collections into the PUML wallet, setting the stage for future gamification features and rewards. While the gamification functionality is still in development, all users that hold at least 1 WearX in their PUML wallet will be able to unlock PUML Premium (More info below)
5. PUML Premium Upgrade
By holding at least 10,000 $PUMLx tokens or at least 1 WearX in their wallet, users automatically qualify for PUML Premium status.
